1. Grant of License

Upon purchase of an exclusive license, the Licensor grants the Licensee the sole and exclusive right to use the commissioned audio recording (the “Work”) in personal and creative projects, including:

• Personal creative projects (art, generative visuals, audio visuals, experimental work, installations, student films, podcasts, etc.)

• Background use in social media posts, YouTube, Twitch, and similar online platforms (non-commercial contexts)

• Educational, research, and portfolio projects

No other party will be licensed to use the Work.

2. Restrictions

The Licensee may not:

• Use the Work in advertising, promotional campaigns, or branded content

• Use the Work in film, TV, or large-scale commercial projects (sync licensing is not included — please contact Different Signal separately to obtain one)

• Upload or distribute the Work as standalone music on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, etc.)

• Resell, redistribute, or repackage the Work (including stems) in any form, such as sample packs or sound libraries

• Claim authorship or copyright ownership of the Work

3. Attribution

Credit to Different Signal is appreciated but not required.

4. Ownership

All copyright and authorship of the Work remain with Different Signal. The Licensee is granted exclusive usage rights only; copyright is not transferred.

5. Liability

The Work is provided “as-is” without warranty. The Licensor is not liable for any damages resulting from its use.
